Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fei Yue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luis Fierro told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luis Fierro!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yue throws an off balance right hand
and Fierro counters with a series of strikes. Yue will be more careful next time no doubt.
Yue looking to score a takedown here. Fierro is defending well but Yue drives through and ends up in Fierro's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Yue pushes down on Fierro's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Yue seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Yue is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fierro defends it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yue in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fierro tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Yue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Fei Yue!
A relieved looking Fei Yue thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
