Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Connor Creed has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Connor Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Jazz!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jazz shoots in but Creed avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jazz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A punch combination from Jazz misses.
Creed misses with a double jab.
Creed motions for Jazz to come forward. Creed throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jazz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Creed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jazz somewhat.
Creed throws a series of punches but Jazz moves out of range.
Creed scores with a nice strike.


It looks like Jimmy Jazz has been cut.
Creed throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jazz shoots in and bounces Creed off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jazz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jazz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jazz has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Jazz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jimmy Jazz wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jazz dodges the punch combination from Creed.
Creed connects with a body shot.
Creed slaps away a takedown attempt from Jazz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Connor Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Jazz.
A punch lands to the side of Jazz 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Creed motions for Jazz to come forward. Creed throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Creed cracks a nice hook into Jazz's ribs.
Jazz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jazz throws the kick towards the body but Creed avoids it.

Jazz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jazz showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jazz prevents Creed from improving his position.
Jazz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Creed keeps working.
Creed trying to control from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jazz controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jimmy Jazz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jazz checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jazz shoots in and drives through. Creed sprawls well.
Jazz is looking to clinch.
Creed connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jazz's hands.
Creed tries to bum rush Jazz with a series of wild strikes but Jazz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jazz shoots in but no luck this time.
Jazz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Creed misses with a two punch combination.
Creed throws a leg kick but Jazz checks it.
Nice takedown defense from Creed. No joy for Jazz on that attempt.
Creed misses with a double jab.

Jazz forces Creed back against the cage and clinches.
Jazz can't break the clinch.
Creed gets underhooks to prevent Jazz's takedown attempt.
Creed wants to break the clinch but can't.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jazz tries to circle away but Creed has him pinned against the cage.
Jazz manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Creed breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Connor Creed will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jimmy Jazz's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


The fight stays on the outside here - Jazz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Creed throws a right hand that Jazz ducks under and follows up with a left that Jazz also avoids with ease.
Creed throws a series of punches but Jazz avoids them all with ease.

and Creed counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Connor Creed is winning the standup battle so far.
No joy there for Creed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Creed cracks Jazz with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Creed misses with the combination.
Creed throws a body punch but Jazz moves out of range.
Creed lands a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jazz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jazz is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Creed moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Connor Creed!
An out of breath Connor Creed thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
