Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avivee Glazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Hughes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Avivee Glazer! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes keeps the fight on the outside. Hughes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Glazer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hughes tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Glazer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Glazer lands a shoulder strike. Hughes looking to throw knees to the head but Glazer is blocking nicely.
Hughes landing knees to the body.
Hughes misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Glazer.
Hughes tries to pull guard but Glazer holds him up against the cage and eventually Hughes drops back down to his feet.
Glazer wants to get back to striking at distance but Hughes won't allow it.
Hughes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Glazer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Glazer darts in trying to clinch and Hughes counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Glazer lands with a short head shot on the inside. Hughes misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Glazer.
Hughes keeps control of Glazer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Glazer takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Avivee Glazer has been cut. Hughes goes for a takedown attempt but Glazer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Hughes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hughes circles away from the clinch attempt and Hughes counters by clinching up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes stalling against the cage.
Hughes lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Glazer prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hughes gets a trip takedown into half guard. Glazer wants to get back to full guard but Hughes has mounted him! Glazer working to try and regain half guard.
Glazer is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hughes tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Glazer is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hughes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Glazer is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Hughes circles away from the clinch attempt and Hughes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hughes. Glazer has had enough of the clinch but Hughes keeps him there for the moment. Hughes blocks an uppercut.
Glazer lands an uppercut. Hughes is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hughes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hughes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Glazer connects with a couple of short punches. Glazer scoring with some ground and pound. Glazer chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hughes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Glazer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Glazer wants to pass the guard but Hughes is keeping the position. Hughes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hughes is breathing heavily. Glazer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hughes's guard. Hughes tries to kick Glazer off but Glazer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Glazer moves nicely into side control. Glazer working the ground and pound. Hughes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Glazer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Glazer is working to tighten is grip on Hughes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hughes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Glazer is really squeezing tight and eventually Hughes passes out! Glazer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
