Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anthony Showtime!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Showtime rushes Henderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Showtime has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Henderson after a bit of a struggle.
Henderson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Showtime can't get the takedown.
Henderson is looking for a takedown.
Henderson manages to break the clinch.
Showtime scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Henderson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Showtime throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Showtime breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Henderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Showtime's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Henderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Showtime swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Henderson stands and steps away. Showtime gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Henderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Showtime sprawls well. He's pushed Henderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Showtime paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Showtime takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Henderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Henderson shoots in for a takedown but Showtime shows good takedown defense.
Showtime comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Showtime swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Showtime bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Showtime decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Henderson is not content to let Showtime control the position.
Showtime wants to stand up but Henderson has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henderson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Showtime really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Henderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Showtime trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Henderson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Anthony Showtime will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Henderson misses with a takedown
and Showtime counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Showtime.
Showtime is trying to trip Henderson. He has hold of a leg but Henderson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Showtime persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Henderson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Showtime trying to control but Henderson is working from the bottom.
Henderson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Showtime frees his head nicely. Oh but Henderson has switched to an armbar! Showtime is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
