The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayama is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tsung darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tsung takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Takayama throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tsung smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Takayama takes a swing at Tsung's ribcage but misses.
Tsung scores with a hook to the body. Takayama takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tsung tries a head kick but it misses.
Takayama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tsung fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tsung getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Takayama has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tsung.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tsung. Takayama does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Takayama is rocked!
Tsung cracks Takayama with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Takayama is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Takayama is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Takayama could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Shang Tsung!
After winning the bout, Shang Tsung thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
