Ramirez comes into the arena with Megadeth-Trust blaring out of the sound system. Alex Ramirez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorvino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ramirez swivels and escapes.
Sorvino shoots in but no luck this time.
Ramirez misses the jab.
Ramirez looks to score with a jab to the body but Sorvino is just out of range.

Ramirez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sorvino stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sorvino steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ramirez.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ramirez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sorvino drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ramirez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sorvino has Ramirez in his guard.
