Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Ruane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolder Dash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruane just misses with a punch to the body.
Ruane looks to throw a body kick
and Dash counters with a three punch combo that has Ruane backing up. Ruane nods at Dash to acknowledge the strikes.
Ruane keeps Dash at a distance using the push kick.
Ruane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dash tries to avoid it but Ruane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dash to the ground. Dash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dash misses with a takedown attempt
and Ruane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Bolder Dash has been cut.
Dash shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ruane pinned against the cage. Ruane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dash closes the distance and clinches up with Ruane, looking for a takedown. Dash pushes Ruane against the cage but Ruane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Ruane counters with a shoot takedown. Dash fights it but they end up in guard.

Ruane could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ruane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dash for as long as he can get away with.

Dash dives in and grabs Ruane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ruane pushes down on Dash's head and hops out.
Dash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ruane was well out of range. Poor timing from Dash.

Ruane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dash jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ruane walks away with a smile on his face. Dash gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ruane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ruane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dash's guard.

Ruane stands and throws Dash's legs to the side, diving into side control.
