Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Kneeigeninen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Kneeigeninen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Piotr Rasputin ! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kneeigeninen leaves Rasputin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rasputin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kneeigeninen misses with a head kick.
Kneeigeninen slaps away a takedown attempt from Rasputin , before circling back to the center of the mat. Seppo Kneeigeninen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Rasputin . Rasputin shoots in and bounces Kneeigeninen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rasputin content to stall in guard here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rasputin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kneeigeninen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rasputin trying to control the position from guard on top but Kneeigeninen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kneeigeninen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kneeigeninen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rasputin manages to get himself to full guard.
Kneeigeninen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rasputin working for submissions but it's allowed Kneeigeninen to get to half guard.
Kneeigeninen is taking a breather. Rasputin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kneeigeninen wants to control but Rasputin is keeping him busy. Rasputin tries to roll over but Kneeigeninen keeps him under control. Rasputin gets back to full guard.
Rasputin wants to sweep but no luck. Rasputin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kneeigeninen is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Seppo Kneeigeninen. Rasputin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kneeigeninen tries to avoid it but Rasputin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kneeigeninen to the ground. Kneeigeninen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rasputin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kneeigeninen did well to prevent Rasputin getting side control. Kneeigeninen wants to get back to his feet. Rasputin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kneeigeninen is staying active underneath Rasputin , who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rasputin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rasputin trying to pass the guard but Kneeigeninen defending well. Rasputin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rasputin throws a strike but Kneeigeninen avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Kneeigeninen wants to get back to his feet but Rasputin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kneeigeninen has momentary wrist control but Rasputin slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kneeigeninen wants to hit a switch here but Rasputin passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kneeigeninen there! Rasputin throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kneeigeninen avoids a series of strikes thrown by Rasputin .
Kneeigeninen manages to regain half guard. Good work. Rasputin looks to land a strike but Kneeigeninen avoids it nicely and regains full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Rasputin dominated that round. That's time! Kneeigeninen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kneeigeninen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rasputin to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kneeigeninen seems keen to control Rasputin 's posture. Rasputin working some strikes from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rasputin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rasputin is looking to work some ground and pound but Kneeigeninen has wrist control. Rasputin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kneeigeninen's head. Rasputin is in close to Kneeigeninen's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin wants to control from the top but Kneeigeninen keeps moving. Rasputin with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rasputin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kneeigeninen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rasputin trying to control but Kneeigeninen is working from the bottom. Rasputin throws an elbow that misses. Kneeigeninen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rasputin 's guard. Nice move by Kneeigeninen! Rasputin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kneeigeninen stacks Rasputin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kneeigeninen! Rasputin looks to move to half guard but instead Kneeigeninen has passed into mount! Damn!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasputin is trying to stand up. Rasputin is working to get back to half guard.
Rasputin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kneeigeninen controlling his opponent. Piotr Rasputin has got the better of the ground game so far. Rasputin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Rasputin tries to kick Kneeigeninen off in order to stand up. Kneeigeninen Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Rasputin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kneeigeninen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rasputin looks to move to half guard but instead Kneeigeninen has passed into mount! Damn! Rasputin wants to hold on but Kneeigeninen pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rasputin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Rasputin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Kneeigeninen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kneeigeninen stuffs the takedown. Rasputin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rasputin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kneeigeninen tries to avoid it but Rasputin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kneeigeninen to the ground. Kneeigeninen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Seppo Kneeigeninen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Rasputin . Rasputin shoots in looking for a takedown but Kneeigeninen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rasputin 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kneeigeninen throws a quick inside leg kick. Kneeigeninen cracks the inside of Rasputin 's front leg. Kneeigeninen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Piotr Rasputin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kneeigeninen stuffs the takedown attempt from Rasputin . Rasputin gets slowly back to his feet. Kneeigeninen lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rasputin blocks a head kick by Kneeigeninen.

Piotr Rasputin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kneeigeninen misses with a head kick.
Rasputin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kneeigeninen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A punch combination from Kneeigeninen misses. Rasputin tries for a takedown but Kneeigeninen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kneeigeninen lands a leg kick that knocks Rasputin off balance momentarily. Kneeigeninen connects with a leg kick. Rasputin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kneeigeninen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rasputin blocks a head kick by Kneeigeninen.
Seppo Kneeigeninen is winning the standup battle so far. Kneeigeninen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

It looks like Piotr Rasputin has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kneeigeninen defends well and Rasputin ends up having to push Kneeigeninen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kneeigeninen lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kneeigeninen lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Rasputin is rocked! Kneeigeninen jerks Rasputin 's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Rasputin drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kneeigeninen goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kneeigeninen because Rasputin was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
