The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marfil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pegeant manages to avoid it.
Marfil takes a swing at Pegeant's ribcage but misses.
Marfil tries to bum rush Pegeant with a series of wild strikes but Pegeant uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pegeant looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Marfil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pegeant on the ground.

Marfil has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pegeant is working away from the top position though.
Marfil tries to roll over but Pegeant keeps him under control.
Marfil looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Pegeant is just content to waste time from the top position. Marfil takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

We've been informed that Pegeant has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Marfil pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pegeant back to the cage. Marfil follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Marfil cracks Pegeant with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Marfil has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pegeant to stand back up!

Pegeant walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Marfil checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Pegeant shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Marfil but Marfil pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pegeant is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Marfil moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jienaro Marfil!
During a confident post fight interview, Jienaro Marfil thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
