Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, RATM - Renegades of Funk. Turk has chosen Status Quo- Deeper and Down as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Braden Turk was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il throws a leg kick which misses Turk's front leg but catches the back leg as Turk tries to avoid it.
Il throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Turk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Il will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Il dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Il lands with an uppercut that bounces Turk off the cage and back into range.
Turk checks a leg kick.
Turk looks to score with a jab to the body but Il is just out of range.
Il misses with a low kick.
Turk has a takedown stuffed.
Turk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Il pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Turk lands with a cross.
Turk tries to land a leg kick but Il saw it coming and moves away.
Turk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Il manages to avoid it.

Il connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Il counters with a nice uppercut.
Turk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Il pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Il goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Turk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Il sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turk somewhat.
Il throws a head kick that misses.
Nice body kick from Il.
Il lands a leg kick that knocks Turk off balance momentarily.
Kim Young Il is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Turk moves out of range of the leg kick from Il.
Il dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Turk. That did some damage!
Il throws a lazy body kick
and Turk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Il throws a leg kick but Turk sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Il lands a high kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Il throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Il.
Il tries to land a leg kick but Turk saw it coming and moves away.
Il misses with an attempted mid kick.
Turk swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Turk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Il connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Turk scrambles back to his feet.
Turk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Il was well out of range. Poor timing from Turk.

Turk defending well as Il loads up on a big left hand.
Il throws a quick inside leg kick.
Il lands a nice looking body shot.
Il throws the kick towards the body but Turk avoids it.
Il looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Turk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Il pinned against the cage. Il gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kim Young Il has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braden Turk.

Il tries to work over Turk's front leg with a kick but Turk checks it.
We've been told by Il's head coaches at School Of Fighting that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Turk bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Il blocks a leg kick.
Il throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Turk throws a chopping leg kick but Il manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Il throws a leg kick which misses Turk's front leg but catches the back leg as Turk tries to avoid it.
Il ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turk moves away.
Turk misses with a few strikes there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turk wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Il dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kim Young Il seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Il throws a front kick aimed at Turk's knee but Turk avoids it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kim Young Il dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Il lands with a shot to the body.
Good work by Turk as he checks the leg kick.

Il walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Turk checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Il buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Turk has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Il.

That kick from Turk tenderised Il's leg. Il is trying to keep his angry face on.
Turk misses with a body shot.
Turk misses with a straight right.
Kim Young Il is winning the standup battle so far.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Turk, as that shot connected.
Turk's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Sloppy strikes from Il. Those never looked like landing.
Il misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Turk throws a sloppy head kick and Il moves out of range easily.
A low kick from Il misses
and Turk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Turk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Il - the referee stops the clock and Turk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Il. Turk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Turk takes one to the chin there.
Turk swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Il.

Il throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice straight punches there by Turk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Turk.

Oh Il is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turk throws a hook but Il blocks it.
Il takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Turk defending well as Il loads up on a big left hand.
Il gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Turk gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Il is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braden Turk!
