Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pulla Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne's entrance music is Something in the Way by Nirvana. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne's corner calls for a 1-2. Wayne obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sorsa was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne.
Sorsa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wayne loads up on a big right hand but Sorsa slips the punch.
Sorsa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wayne sprawls well initially but Sorsa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wayne moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Sorsa throws a big right hand that misses.
Wayne wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Wayne wants to sweep here but Sorsa controlling him for the moment.
Wayne is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Ronnie Wayne has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sorsa has his takedown stuffed
and Wayne counters with a straight right hand.
Sorsa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sorsa swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Sorsa takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wayne avoids the head kick by Sorsa.
Wayne just misses with a punch to the body.
Wayne has been working on his boxing with his coaches at *Nelson Fight Camp* in the buildup to the fight.
Sorsa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sorsa checks a low kick from Wayne.
Wayne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sorsa's coach down at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sorsa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Wayne swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Sorsa gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Sorsa misses with a head kick.
Sorsa walks into a stiff left hand from Wayne.

Wayne connects with an inside leg kick.
Wayne stuffs the takedown attempt from Sorsa. Sorsa gets slowly back to his feet.
Sorsa scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Sorsa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sorsa thows a leg kick but Wayne checks it
and Wayne counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Wayne displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sorsa.
Ronnie Wayne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pulla Sorsa.
Wayne lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sorsa takes a step back to recover.
Sorsa takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wayne looks to throw the jab but Sorsa is out of range.
Wayne connects with a body shot.
Sorsa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wayne avoids it really well and circles away.

Wayne throws a chopping leg kick but Sorsa manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wayne throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ronnie Wayne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wayne takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wayne pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wayne just misses with a punch to the body.
Wayne connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sorsa momentarily.
Sorsa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sorsa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Wayne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sorsa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sorsa staying out of range there.
Wayne lands with a hook. Sorsa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sorsa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wayne jabs Sorsa to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sorsa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wayne ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sorsa scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wayne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sorsa circles away quickly and effectively.
Sorsa lands a head shot.
Wayne connects with a single shot there.
A low kick from Wayne misses
and Sorsa counters with a good low kick that Wayne was not able to check.
Sorsa pushes Wayne away with a front kick.
Wayne scores with a jab to the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sorsa lets loose with a powerful body kick. Wayne will feel that in the morning.
Wayne misses with a wild body shot.
Sorsa on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sorsa is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Wayne moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Sorsa! Wayne continues to tee off on Sorsa, landing with a left and a right! Wayne connects with a right hand that leaves Sorsa sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Wayne!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ronnie Wayne!
Ronnie Wayne decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
