Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojciech Sakrucki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sakrucki's choice of entrance music: Kochana Polsko. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adam Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wojciech Sakrucki!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sakrucki shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sakrucki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sakrucki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Sakrucki drops Jones with a left and a right! Oh, Jones is hurt - Sakrucki dives into side control looking to finish!


Jones is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sakrucki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sakrucki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.

Sakrucki might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jones pushes Sakrucki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sakrucki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Jones tries to bench press Sakrucki off him but Sakrucki keeps the position.
Sakrucki tries to score with some ground and pound. Jones controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Jones wants to control but Sakrucki postures up.
Jones is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sakrucki connects with a decent elbow.

Sakrucki tries to score with some ground and pound. Jones controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Sakrucki is trying to ground and pound but Jones uses the momentary lack of control by Sakrucki to regain half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sakrucki wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sakrucki throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jones to regain full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Sakrucki is having none of it.

Sakrucki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sakrucki gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Sakrucki or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sakrucki goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Jones continues to drive forward.

Sakrucki pulls Jones into guard.
Sakrucki looking to control.
Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sakrucki tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jones trying to control but Sakrucki is working from the bottom.
Sakrucki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sakrucki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Sakrucki's legs - danger averted.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sakrucki is on top in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wojciech Sakrucki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wojciech Sakrucki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sakrucki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Wojciech Sakrucki was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
