The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose misses with a wild body shot.
Sodium lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Sodium ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rose has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rose misses with a hook. Sodium ducked under it nicely.
Sodium shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rose manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rose is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Rose must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rose is sitting in close to Sodium's body. Sodium has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rose is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rose is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sodium.
