Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Morgernstern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Larkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgernstern comes to the cage accompanied by Te a la menthe. The crowd seem to be enjoying Larkin's choice of entrance music: I'm Shipping Up To Boston. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larkin misses with a few strikes there.
Morgernstern swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ryan Larkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Larkin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Larkin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Morgernstern on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Larkin. Larkin obviously looking to wear him down.

Larkin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Morgernstern pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Morgernstern misses with an uppercut

and Larkin counters by moving into the clinch.

Larkin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Morgernstern.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Larkin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Morgernstern backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Larkin.
Morgernstern tries for a takedown. No joy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morgernstern drops down looking for an ankle pick but Larkin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Larkin tries to clinch but Morgernstern is having none of it.

Larkin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Larkin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morgernstern paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Larkin scores with a head kick. Morgernstern tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Matt Morgernstern has been cut.
Morgernstern has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Morgernstern there as he acknowledges the shot.
Morgernstern has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Larkin.

Larkin gets a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A short right hand to the side of the head by Larkin.
Morgernstern wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Larkin can't find room to land a body shot as Morgernstern controls the action.
Larkin pushes Morgernstern back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Larkin has Morgernstern pressed against the cage, preventing Morgernstern from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Morgernstern is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Larkin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Larkin lands a body punch in the clinch.

Larkin scores with a nice hook to the head.
Larkin tries to work over Morgernstern's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Morgernstern tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Larkin's elbow.
Larkin lands with a left to the head.

Morgernstern is rocked!
A head punch on the inside from Larkin fails to land.
Oh Morgernstern is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Larkin unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Morgernstern! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Larkin is unloading with more strikes now! Morgernstern drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
