Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Steele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chip Lee!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a jab when Steele was well out of range.
Lee with a nice cross.
Steele really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Lee swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Steele.
Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steele shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Lee tries to clinch up.
Lee misses the shot to the body.

Steele clinches with his opponent.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steele paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lee falls off balance throwing a combination

and Steele holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lee misses with a hook to the ribs.
Steele has Lee pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lee manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lee breaks from the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Lee. Those never looked like landing.
Steele really is a fat lump.
Steele shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Chip Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Steele dives in and scores a takedown into Lee's guard.

Steele stands up and waves to Lee to follow him.

and Steele counters with a single leg into guard. Lee didn't expect that.
Steele controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Steele sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard.
Steele looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Lee wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bob Steele.
Lee throws a body punch but Steele moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steele's waist but Steele gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.

Steele shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steele moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Steele goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward.

Lee connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lee throws a head kick but Steele moves out of range.
Steele doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.

and Steele counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lee has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee is looking to clinch but Steele is avoiding it.
Steele slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Steele throws a leg kick but Lee moved away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chip Lee will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lee moves into the clinch successfully.
Steele has Lee pressed against the cage, preventing Lee from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Steele on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lee tries to throw a body punch but Steele avoids it by throwing Lee back against the cage.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Steele shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Steele tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee misses with a double jab
and Steele counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bob Steele is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Steele moves out of range of the strikes.
Lee getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Lee clinches.

Steele gets control of Lee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Steele will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Steele has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lee has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lee pushes Steele up against the cage in a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Lee fails to land.
Lee trying to control the position but instead, Steele has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lee into the cage.
Lee misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Steele.
Lee scores with a shot to the side of Steele's head.
Steele is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lee struggles to land a body shot inside as Steele controls his hands.
Lee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lee misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Lee tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steele swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steele swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Steele fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steele shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Steele, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Steele against the cage but Steele circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Steele makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt.
Lee works over Steele's head and body with a nice combination.
Lee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Steele bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Steele avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Steele is holding on to half guard well.
Steele might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Steele is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well, if Lee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lee is just content to waste time from the top position. Steele takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee wants to control from the top but Steele keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chip Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Steele has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lee.

Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Steele changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Steele manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Steele under the eye.
Lee tries to clinch but Steele is having none of it.

No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Steele stuffs the takedown.
Steele shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.

Lee throws a series of strikes that have Steele backpedaling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee leaves Steele with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Steele fails with the takedown.

Lee tests Steele's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chip Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Lee looks to throw the jab but Steele is out of range.
Lee catches Steele with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lee's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lee duly obliges.

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steele swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lee can't find room to land a body shot as Steele controls the action.
Lee works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Steele closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steele's hands.
Steele tests Lee's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Steele uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee closes the distance and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bob Steele has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lee throws a series of punches but Steele moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chip Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
