Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winston Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Winston Mcdonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Greg Campos! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcdonald shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Campos as he avoids it easily. Campos gets tackled into the cage by Mcdonald. Mcdonald maintains the clinch. Mcdonald drops down looking for an ankle pick but Campos pulls his leg out and moves away.
Campos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcdonald did well to prevent Campos getting side control. Campos lands with a punch from half guard. Mcdonald could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mcdonald flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Mcdonald works his way to full guard. Good work. Campos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcdonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Campos scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Mcdonald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Campos blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mcdonald.
That's one minute gone in the round. Campos trying to control but Mcdonald postures up.
Campos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcdonald haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcdonald is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Campos has managed to free his arm - good work. Campos avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mcdonald.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcdonald is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mcdonald throwing shots but Campos is blocking nicely. Mcdonald sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Campos defending well though. Campos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcdonald pulls his head out easily. Mcdonald thows a huge punch but Campos dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcdonald is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Campos is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Winston Mcdonald!
