Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lu Bu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Double Trouble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lu Bu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lu Bu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Double Trouble!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bu keeps the fight on the outside.

Trouble closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trouble thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bu's head.
Trouble wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bu keeps working.
Trouble with the ground and pound but Bu uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Trouble seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Trouble pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bu is keeping the position for now.

Trouble throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Trouble must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Trouble stacks Bu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Trouble!

Trouble goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bu is on top in guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Trouble closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bu quickly recovers to half guard.

Trouble is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bu defends it well.
Bu trying to control but Trouble postures up.
Bu is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Trouble is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lu Bu wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Bu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Trouble on his heels. He'll look to pass Trouble's guard now, I'm sure.

Trouble is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Bu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trouble is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bu, into his guard.
Trouble tries to free his leg and advance position but Bu is retaining full guard.

Trouble wants to stand but Bu is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bu is trying to control the position but Trouble postures up.

Lu Bu has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Trouble tries to clinch there but Bu circles away.

Trouble shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bu is trying to defend but Trouble finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bu looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bu moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Trouble wanted to stand there but Bu had control of the position.
Bu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Trouble is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Double Trouble showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Trouble throws a sloppy head kick and Bu moves out of range easily.
Trouble scores with a sloppy right hand. Bu should have avoided that one.

Trouble feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Trouble is looking to stand up but Bu won't let him.
Trouble with a flurry of punches that miss.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Double Trouble has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Trouble lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Bu gets the takedown into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bu in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Trouble is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
