Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mika Tervala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Living in America. Mika Tervala struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tervala misses with a double jab.
Tervala looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Masters keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tervala on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Masters scores with a head kick.
Masters misses with a two punch combination.
Mika Tervala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Masters lands a right hook to the body.
Tervala takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Masters comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Masters lands a big head kick that sends Tervala tumbling to the mat! Masters takes a step backwards and waves Tervala back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tervala is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Masters throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Tervala is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
