Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Kenway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotrek Krzywda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Edward Kenway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Piotrek Krzywda! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenway will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kenway lands a jab-cross combination. Kenway moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Krzywda showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kenway.
Kenway scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Edward Kenway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kenway looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kenway throws a series of punches but Krzywda moves out of range. Kenway scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Kenway lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kenway. Krzywda misses with a wild combination.
Krzywda moves out of range as Kenway throws a body kick.
Kenway lands with a nice combination. Krzywda backs away looking to recover. Krzywda slips a jab and a cross from Kenway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenway swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Krzywda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Krzywda takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Krzywda. Kenway wants to get back to his feet. Krzywda decides to take the fight back to the feet. Krzywda showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kenway.
Krzywda fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kenway, pushing him back against the cage. Kenway looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Krzywda can't find room to land a body shot as Kenway controls the action.
Kenway has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kenway tries to circle away but Krzywda has him pinned against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenway is trying to break the clinch but Krzywda is controlling him. Krzywda wants the takedown. Kenway is fighting it off but Krzywda persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kenway's guard against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kenway is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Krzywda stands up and waves to Kenway to follow him. Kenway fails with a takedown attempt. Kenway misses with a two punch combination.
Krzywda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Krzywda lands a decent elbow from side control. Krzywda has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Krzywda moves out of range of the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krzywda misses with a takedown attempt - Kenway sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Krzywda gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kenway.
Kenway is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Kenway is trying to break free. Kenway is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Krzywda has Kenway pressed against the cage, preventing Kenway from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Krzywda tries to land knees in the clinch but Kenway avoids the damage to the body. Kenway has a couple of punches blocked by Krzywda.
Kenway has had enough of the clinch but Krzywda keeps him there for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenway wants to get back to striking at distance but Krzywda won't allow it.
Krzywda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Krzywda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kenway wants to stand but Krzywda has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kenway preventing the sweep. Kenway trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Krzywda manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Krzywda controls from within his opponent's guard. Krzywda is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krzywda controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Piotrek Krzywda will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kenway tries to close the distance and clinch but Krzywda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Krzywda forces Kenway back against the cage and clinches. Kenway tries to circle away but Krzywda has him pinned against the cage. Kenway wants to get back to striking at distance but Krzywda won't allow it.
Kenway is trying to break the clinch but Krzywda has him pressed against the cage. Krzywda gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kenway is looking to get back to is feet but Krzywda passes into side control.
Krzywda working the ground and pound from side control. Krzywda has knee on belly and moves into mount. Krzywda content just to control the position here. Kenway knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krzywda on the ground. Krzywda's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. This has been an exciting period of action! Krzywda has control of Kenway's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kenway regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krzywda controlling the position easily from mount. Kenway is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Krzywda has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krzywda slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Kenway is taking damage to the body and head. Kenway is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Krzywda tries to keep control of the position but Kenway is staying busy. Kenway has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krzywda scores with punches and elbows. Krzywda controlling from the back. Kenway wants to get back to his feet. Krzywda working for the choke. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krzywda has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kenway has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kenway wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krzywda landing with strikes. I would not like to be Kenway right now.
Krzywda is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Kenway with him. Kenway is trying to defend but Krzywda has an arm under the chin now! Kenway grimaces and is forced to tap out!
