Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Havens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandy Sneed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Havens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandy Sneed!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sneed moves into the clinch.
Havens breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sneed attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sneed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Havens changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sneed tries to avoid it but Havens manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sneed to the ground. Sneed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sneed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Havens circles away.
Havens throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Havens - that will leave a mark!
Sneed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Havens's waist but Havens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sneed off to one side.
Havens looks to land a combination but Sneed avoids it well.
Sneed shoots in but Havens avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bryan Havens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandy Sneed.
Havens misses with a body kick.
Sneed is looking to land body kicks.
Havens drives through and clinches with Sneed against the cage.
Havens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sneed has Havens pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Havens manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sneed wants to break free but Havens has control.

Havens wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sneed has him pressed against the cage.

and Sneed counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Havens!
Sneed can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Havens is looking to escape.

Havens on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Havens tries to get out of the position.

Havens wants to control but Sneed is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Havens manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Havens, under a barage of strikes from Sneed.
Sneed stands up out of the half guard.
Sneed takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

so Sneed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Havens on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sneed. Sneed obviously looking to wear him down.
Havens throws a chopping leg kick but Sneed manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

and Sneed counters with a head kick. That will keep Havens thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Havens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sneed on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sneed tries to get to full guard but Havens has control of the leg.

Sneed is looking to control Havens's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sneed avoid being mounted?
Havens wants to take a breather but Sneed is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Havens throws a combination. Sneed tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sneed takes one on the button.
Havens tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sneed counters with a shoot takedown. Havens fights it but they end up in guard.
Sneed stopping the sweep attempt from Havens.

Havens is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Havens is looking to stand up but Sneed isn't so interested in that idea.
Sneed wants to control from the top but Havens keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brandy Sneed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Crunch! Havens slams his shin into Sneed's torso.

and Havens counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sneed thinking.

Sneed fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sneed shoots in for a double leg but Havens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Havens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sneed as he jumps to the side.

Havens closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Horrible takedown by Sneed or perhaps it was just good defense by Havens which made him look bad.

Sneed seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Havens does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brandy Sneed has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sneed might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Havens kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bryan Havens has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Havens tries to kick Sneed off in order to stand up. Sneed Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Sneed advances nicely into full mount.
