Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Utah could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gerard Musashi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johny Utah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gerard Musashi! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Utah looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Musashi is fending him off so far but Utah persists. Nope, Musashi circles away and we're back to standing. Musashi blocks the body kick.
Musashi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Utah tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Musashi counters with a nice uppercut. Musashi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Utah's guard. Musashi content to stall in guard here. Let's hope that Musashi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Utah is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gerard Musashi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Utah closes the distance and clinches. Musashi jumps guard but Utah turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Musashi is trying to force a seperation but Utah has the dominant position. Utah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Utah with a lazy takedown attempt and Musashi counters with a lovely shot to the body. Utah is breathing heavily. Utah misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Utah looks to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Utah moves in looking to clinch but Musashi pushes him off. Utah has closed the distance and engaged Musashi in a clinch.
Musashi throws a head punch that misses. Utah unloads a knee to the mid-section. Musashi wants a takedown.
Utah looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Utah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Musashi jumps guard but Utah stands there with Musashi around his waist. Musashi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Musashi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Utah really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Utah trying to control the position but instead, Musashi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Utah into the cage. Utah is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Musashi is defending well for now. Musashi leaning against his opponent.
Musashi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Utah just stands there and leans against the cage. Musashi is looking to break free of the clinch but Utah has double underhooks. Musashi is trying to break the clinch but Utah is controlling him. Both guys are working to get underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Musashi breaks from the clinch.
Utah throws a looping overhand right but Musashi ducks down to avoid it. Utah misses with a takedown attempt and Utah takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Johny Utah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Utah fails with a takedown attempt. Utah thuds a left hand into Musashi's body. Utah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Musashi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Well, if Musashi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Musashi passes into side control, despite Utah's attempt to control the position.

Utah throws the kick towards the body but Musashi avoids it. The fight stays on the outside here - Musashi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Utah with a poor takedown and Musashi counters with a series of strikes. Utah will be more careful next time no doubt.

Utah changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Musashi pushes Utah up against the cage in a clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Utah thows a body shot but no joy. Utah tries to clinch letting Musashi counter with a right hand. Oh Utah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Johny Utah has been cut. Utah moves in looking to clinch but Musashi pushes him off. Musashi circles away from the clinch attempt and Musashi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice jab there from Utah. Utah shoots for a double leg takedown but Musashi sprawls well. He's pushed Utah's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Utah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Utah misses with a takedown attempt and Musashi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Utah looks to land a left hand but Musashi moved out of range nicely. Musashi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Utah is trying to escape the position but Musashi is controlling the position. My spies in WarZone Training Facility 2 inform me that Musashi has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Utah seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Musashi has knee on belly and moves into mount. Musashi is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Musashi extends the arm and Utah is forced to tap!
