Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Axel Grits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lengyel Attila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Axel Grits! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lengyel Attila! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grits bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Grits is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Attila is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Attila is trying to get back to half guard. Grits controls the position from side control. Grits wants to control but Attila is keeping him busy. Attila is looking to get back to his feet here but Grits is keeping cool and he's managed to take Attila's back. Attila looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Attila rolls, trying to escape but Grits keeps control of the position.
Grits is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Attila knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Attila for a finish. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

What can Attila do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Attila trying to control the action but Grits just sinks the hooks in. Grits lands punches and elbows. Grits has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Attila's body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grits looking for the RNC. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Attila gets tackled into the cage by Grits. Grits maintains the clinch. Attila pulls guard. Grits trying to control the position from guard on top but Attila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grits looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Grits will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Attila keeping full guard, as Grits tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Attila wants to sweep here but Grits controlling him for the moment. Attila is trying to control the position but Grits postures up.
We're going to have a standup here because Axel Grits wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Attila shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grits as he avoids it easily. Attila jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Attila tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Grits manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Grits shoots in and bounces Attila off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Grits slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Grits wants to stand but Attila has his arm trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grits trying to control the position but Attila is working away. Grits goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Attila has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Grits but great work by Attila. Grits is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Attila off and has taken his back! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Attila is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Grits seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Attila for as long as he can get away with. Grits lands with a hammerfist to the side of Attila's head.

Grits slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Grits's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Grits avoiding Attila 's attempts to control his hands. Grits keeps control of the position easily here as Attila tries to buck him off.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Axel Grits. Attila with a poor takedown and Grits counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Grits. Attila is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grits working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Attila's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grits controls from within his opponent's guard. Grits pushes down on Attila's leg and manages to get into half guard. Attila is looking for a sweep. Grits is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Grits not doing much here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grits drops an elbow to the side of Attila's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Axel Grits dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Attila enables Grits to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Attila manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Grits trying to control the position from guard on top but Attila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Attila is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Grits with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Attila tries to land a sweep but no joy. Grits looking to pass the guard. Grits postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grits content to stall in guard here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Attila keeping moving, preventing Grits from controlling successfully. Axel Grits overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

He's got his arms around Attila's waist but Attila gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grits off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Axel Grits. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Attila looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Attila pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Attila fails in his attempt to clinch. Grits moves forwards but Attila connects with a nice, crisp jab. Attila closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grits circles away. Nice takedown defense from Attila. No joy for Grits on that attempt. Grits defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Attila. Grits keeps the fight on the outside. Grits throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Attila tries to clinch but Grits moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grits moves to clinch but Attila breaks away and Attila counters with a big head kick but Grits shrugs it off. Grits keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Attila closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grits circles away. Grits throws a right and a left that Attila avoids nicely. Attila closes the distance and clinches up with Grits, looking for a takedown. Attila pushes Grits against the cage but Grits circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grits clinches up with Attila and pushes him back against the cage. Grits jumps guard and drags Attila to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grits is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Grits got a little sloppy there for a moment and Attila has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grits has managed to get both his arms back between Attila's legs - danger averted. Grits would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Axel Grits showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grits, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
