Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steveo Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock has chosen bulls on parade as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steveo Perkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Rock! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perkins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rock shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Perkins's guard. Rock is working Perkins over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Perkins wants to stand up but Rock is controlling him. Rock throws a strike but Perkins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Perkins wants to control from the top but Rock keeps moving. Rock wants to stand but Perkins is controlling the position. Perkins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rock is trying to keep Perkins in close.
Perkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Perkins wanted to stand there but Rock had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perkins is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Rock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Perkins wanted to stand there but Rock had control of the position. Perkins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Perkins stands up from guard. Let's bang! Perkins scores with a jab. Rock acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Rock throws a right and a left that Perkins avoids nicely. Perkins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Rock takes a shot right to the bread basket. Perkins thuds a left hand into Rock's body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perkins. The fight stays on the outside here - Rock looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rock shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rock was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rock tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Perkins bucks up and tries to throw Rock off but instead Rock has got his back! Perkins is trying to stand back up. Perkins rolls, trying to escape but Rock keeps control of the position.
Perkins is working hard here to advance position. Rock tries to get the hooks in deep but Perkins pushed the leg off. Perkins is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Weed Nation, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perkins is trying to get back to his feet but Rock has full control of the position and if anything, Perkins has just worked his way into a worse spot. Rock is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
