Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jugdish Patel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tylenol Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a straight left.
Patel wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
A jab from Jones misses.

Patel moves into the clinch.

Jones has Patel pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jones pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Patel tumbling to the mat - Jones dives into Patel's guard.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Patel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Patel's legs - danger averted.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Patel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones passes Patel's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Jones is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Patel reverses the position - he's now on top in Jones's guard.
Patel postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Patel wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Patel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Patel passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Patel has an Americana. Jones didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Patel is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Patel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
