Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Maddox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Haku Tama!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tama lands with a nice body punch.
Maddox looks to throw the jab but Tama is out of range.
Tama takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Haku Tama has been cut.
Maddox slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Maddox lands with a big right hook that stumbles Tama - he's out on his feet here! Maddox follows up with another monster hook that separates Tama from consciousness! Tama falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Maddox stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jimmy Maddox!
A less than humble Jimmy Maddox misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
