Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Movsar Barayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uzumaki Naruto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naruto closes the distance and clinches up with Barayev, looking for a takedown. Naruto pushes Barayev against the cage but Barayev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barayev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Naruto pinned against the cage. Naruto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Naruto throws a series of punches but Barayev moves out of range.
Barayev looks to land a body kick but Naruto moved away.

Barayev wants to stand and escape but Naruto is having none of it.

Barayev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barayev tries to get out of the position.
Barayev controls Naruto momentarily but Naruto frees himself.
Barayev is looking to stand back up but Naruto counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Barayev.

Naruto is pressing down on Barayev's thigh, looking to free his foot. Barayev is holding on for now.
Naruto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barayev does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Naruto connects with a nice short shot to Barayev's temple.

Barayev is working to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Naruto wants to control the pace but Barayev is squirming around nicely.

A close round but Uzumaki Naruto will probably get the nod.
That's time! Barayev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Barayev shoots in for a double leg but Naruto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Barayev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Naruto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Barayev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Naruto but Naruto pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Naruto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barayev's waist but Barayev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Naruto off to one side.

Barayev throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Naruto escapes and throws Barayev's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Naruto stands up and beckons Barayev to his feet.
Naruto moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Naruto throws a right and a left that Barayev avoids nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barayev is pushing Naruto up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Naruto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Naruto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Barayev wants to control but Naruto postures up.
Naruto decides to stand back up. Naruto steps back and let's Barayev get back to his feet.
Barayev throws a head kick that misses.
Naruto wants to clinch up but Barayev keeps it at a distance.
Uzumaki Naruto seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Naruto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Naruto darts in looking for a takedown but Barayev gets double underhooks and turns Naruto into the cage.
Barayev has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Naruto avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Uzumaki Naruto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
