Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lesnar Brock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scott Whitlow! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitlow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Whitlow is staying tight to Brock's torso, preventing him from escaping. Let's hope that Whitlow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Brock wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Whitlow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Brock gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Whitlow pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

That's one minute gone in the round. Whitlow trying to control but he's not successful this time. Whitlow thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whitlow unloads with some shots from mount but Brock bucks and avoids them well.

Brock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Whitlow with a couple of short strikes. Whitlow content just to control the position here. Brock is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Whitlow misses with a head shot. Brock blocking the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Whitlow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Whitlow in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Whitlow trying to control the action but Brock is working from the bottom. Whitlow tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Whitlow tries to move into full mount but can't pass Brock's legs. Whitlow has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Brock!
That's one minute gone in the round. Whitlow is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brock to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brock shrugs it off. Whitlow looking to control but Brock is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Whitlow working for a guillotine from mount but Brock is in no mood to give up. Whitlow moves to take his opponent's back. Brock is trying to defend against the choke here but Whitlow has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Whitlow Tightens the hold and Brock taps out furiously! Whitlow displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
