Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Badi Gnesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Badi Gnesh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Brown! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Gnesh. Gnesh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brown counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gnesh's guard now. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Brown works over Gnesh with some ground and pound from guard. Gnesh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Gnesh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gnesh looking for a sweep. Not yet Gnesh, not yet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brown is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Brown postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Brown scores with a nice right hand.
Gnesh fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Badi Gnesh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gnesh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it. No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt. Brown is trying hard to land a takedown here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Gnesh shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Brown lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gnesh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gnesh off to one side. Gnesh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Brown closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gnesh's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gnesh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace. Brown trying to control but Gnesh is working from the bottom. Gnesh has momentary wrist control but Brown slips an elbow through the middle. Brown throws a big elbow that misses. Brown throws an elbow that misses. Gnesh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brown's guard. Nice move by Gnesh! Gnesh won't allow Brown to sweep him here.

Brown wants to sweep here but Gnesh controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown is pulling down on Gnesh's head to control his posture. Gnesh landing some decent shots from guard. Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Gnesh is proving a slippery customer.

Gnesh keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head. Brown is looking to stand up but Gnesh isn't so interested in that idea. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown throws a big right hand that misses. Gnesh keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Gnesh looking for a sweep. Not yet Gnesh, not yet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gnesh working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Brown dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gnesh fails with a takedown attempt. Brown misses with a looping right. Brown takes a swing at Gnesh's ribcage but misses. Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brown lands with a nice body punch. Gnesh tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily and Brown counters with a stiff right hand. Gnesh throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily. Brown drives through with a takedown into Gnesh's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gnesh's head. Brown won't allow Gnesh to sweep him here. Brown works over Gnesh with some ground and pound from guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brown is trying to get back to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth. Danny Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Brown stays in close to Gnesh's body and controls the position. Danny Brown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gnesh. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gnesh shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
