The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey looks to throw a body kick
and De Oliveira counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Coffey tries to get back to half guard but can't.
De Oliveira trying to control the action but Coffey is working from the bottom.

Coffey takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
De Oliveira thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
De Oliveira is looking to take a break and control but Coffey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Coffey pushes De Oliveira away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, De Oliveira gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
De Oliveira cracks Coffey with a big right hand but Coffey just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
De Oliveira misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

John Coffey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Coffey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Oliveira was well out of range. Poor timing from Coffey.

Coffey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging De Oliveira to the ground. Coffey is now in De Oliveira's guard.

Thiago Santana De Oliveira comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well De Oliveira has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
