The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bregovic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Carmelo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carmelo.
Bregovic manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Carmelo gets to his feet - Bregovic follows without any prompting.

Carmelo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bregovic's guard.
Carmelo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bregovic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carmelo has managed to get both his arms back between Bregovic's legs - danger averted.
