Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Braxton Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magobei Amori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yates comes to the cage accompanied by My Name Is Mud. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Amori is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Amori breaks Yates's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yates is pulling down on Amori's head. It's preventing any offense from Amori, at least for the moment.

Amori fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yates sprawls well initially but Amori persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yates tries to roll over but Amori keeps him under control.

and Yates counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Amori's guard now.
Yates is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
