Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Braxton Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magobei Amori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yates comes to the cage accompanied by My Name Is Mud. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yates looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Amori keeping full guard, as Yates tries to pass. Amori trying to control the position.
Amori lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Yates trying to control but Amori is working from the bottom. Yates tries to free his leg and advance position but Amori is retaining full guard. Amori manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yates manages to get himself to full guard.
Yates kicks Amori off and gets to his feet. Amori thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amori lands with a cross. Yates avoids the head kick by Amori.
Magobei Amori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yates. Amori wants to clinch. Amori with a lazy takedown attempt and Yates counters with a nice double leg into side control. Amori won't be happy with that. Yates working away. Check out the look on Yates's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Yates cracks Amori with a big elbow. Amori wants to get back to his feet but Yates is dominant here and he's now got Amori's back! Yates lands a big shot there that rocks Amori but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Amori is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Yates has taken his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amori is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yates working for the choke. Amori really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yates. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yates is breathing heavily. Amori trying to control the action but Yates just sinks the hooks in. Amori is covering up but some of the strikes from Yates are getting through and doing damage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Yates looking to break Amori's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Amori remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Yates will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Yates patiently working for the choke. Yates is looking for the choke from the back position but Amori is controlling his hands well. Amori fending off the submission attempt from Yates. Yates patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Yates looking for the RNC. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yates punches the canvas rather than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Amori breaks Yates's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yates is pulling down on Amori's head. It's preventing any offense from Amori, at least for the moment. Yates wants to sweep here but Amori controlling him for the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Amori fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yates sprawls well initially but Amori persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yates tries to roll over but Amori keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Braxton Yates dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Amori stuffs the takedown attempt from Yates. Yates gets slowly back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amori. Yates darts in and clinches Amori up against the cage. Yates is working for takedown but Amori is calmly controlling the position for now. Yates is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Braxton Yates. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yates manages to pull guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Amori postures up.

Yates takes a shot right to the bread basket. Yates shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amori's guard. Yates is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amori controls Yates momentarily but Yates frees himself. Yates stands and steps away. Amori gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Amori tries to clinch but fails miserably and Yates counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Amori's guard now. Yates is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Yates passes into half guard. Amori trying to control from the bottom.
Yates sitting and controlling from the half guard. Yates seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Amori is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
