Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Maczynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sampo Jampo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maczynsky comes into the arena with Hymn blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maczynsky moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jampo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Maczynsky goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jampo throws a good cross that connects.
Maczynsky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maczynsky lands a front kick.
Jampo moves out of range of the body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jampo lands a nice shot that snaps Maczynsky's head back.

Jampo has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Maczynsky takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Maczynsky cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Maczynsky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Maczynsky counters with a head kick that drops Jampo to the mat! Jampo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Sampo Jampo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maczynsky's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jampo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Maczynsky scrambles back to his feet.

Jampo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Maczynsky throws a series of punches but Jampo avoids them all with ease.

Jampo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jampo takes a swing at Maczynsky's ribcage but misses.

Jampo throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Jampo misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maczynsky wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jampo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maczynsky.
Jampo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Maczynsky had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Maczynsky tries to land a front kick but Jampo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Maczynsky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jampo lands a nice hook to Maczynsky's body. Maczynsky takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Maczynsky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jampo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jampo tries to move into range but Maczynsky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jampo throws a lazy right hand but Maczynsky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jampo throws a shot from downtown. Maczynsky moves away and avoids it.
Maczynsky lands a high kick!
A head kick misses from Maczynsky.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Maczynsky! Jampo is out on his feet! Maczynsky rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jampo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jampo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
