Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eduardo Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Milan Zitska! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Zitska does no damage. Sanchez moves out of range of the strikes. A momentary lapse in concentration from Zitska enables Sanchez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zitska manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sanchez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Zitska not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sanchez looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sanchez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Eduardo Sanchez just wasn't active enough. Sanchez moves into the clinch. Sanchez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zitska walks away with a smile on his face. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Zitska loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch. Zitska closes the distance and lands a one-two. Milan Zitska is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sanchez clinches. Sanchez keeps control of Zitska as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sanchez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sanchez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zitska's half guard. Sanchez slows the pace down in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zitska is looking for a sweep. Sanchez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sanchez is controlling the pace.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zitska throws a right and a left that Sanchez avoids nicely. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sanchez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zitska connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Sanchez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Zitska tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sanchez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zitska is trying to escape the position but Sanchez is controlling the position. Zitska wants to control but Sanchez postures up. Sanchez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zitska looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sanchez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zitska is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sanchez lets go of the hold and Zitska can pop his arm back in it's socket.
