Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yanar throws a sloppy head kick and Happiness moves out of range easily.
Yanar moves into the clinch successfully.
Yanar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Happiness wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yanar has him pressed against the ropes.
Happiness lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yanar backwards.

Happiness breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Happiness blocks a low kick nicely.
Yanar throws a series of punches but Happiness moves out of range.

No joy there for Yanar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Happiness counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Happiness looking to finish!

Happiness throws a big right hand that misses.
Happiness won't allow Yanar to sweep him here.

Yanar keeping moving, preventing Happiness from controlling successfully.
Yanar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Happiness wants to pass the guard but Yanar is keeping the position.
Happiness drops back looking for a leg! Yanar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yanar manages to kick Happiness off! Happiness jumps back into Yanar's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Yanar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yanar lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Yanar moves into the clinch successfully.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Happiness pushes off an throws an elbow but Yanar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yanar pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Yanar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Happiness dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Yanar stuffs the takedown attempt from Happiness. Happiness gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tuck Happiness. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yanar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Happiness moves away.

Yanar misses with a series of wild punches.
Yanar gets caught flat footed, as Happiness shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Happiness passes Yanar's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Happiness has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Yanar defend it? Happiness steps over the head and cranks it - Yanar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Happiness!
