The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Out is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Volkov!
Out connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Out cracks Volkov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Out cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Volkov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Out raining down shots from the mount!
Volkov tries to hold on but Out postures up.
Out stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Out misses with a two punch combination.
Out has a takedown stuffed.
Volkov tries to bum rush Out with a series of wild strikes but Out uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Out darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Out trying to control the pace.
Volkov tries to kick Out off in order to stand up. Out Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Volkov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Out asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Out scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Volkov is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Out can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tap Out!
