Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredrick Felino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Medranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medranda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Buck dich. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Fredrick Felino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlos Medranda! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felino avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Good exchange - Medranda coming out on top. Medranda scores with a hook to the body. Felino takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Medranda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Felino circles away quickly and effectively. Felino dives in and grabs Medranda's left leg, looking for a takedown. Medranda pushes down on Felino's head and hops out. A swing and a miss from Medranda. Medranda scores with a jab to the body. Medranda misses the shot to the body. Medranda clobbers Felino with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Medranda throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Medranda misses with a jab, cross combination.
Felino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Medranda.
Medranda cracks Felino with an open hand slap. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Medranda throws a one two combo.
Medranda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Felino has taken the fight to the clinch.
Medranda breaks the clinch.
Felino slips a jab and a cross from Medranda.
Felino has been working on his balance at EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Medranda. Medranda loads up on a big right hand but Felino slips the punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Medranda misses the body punch and Felino connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Medranda stalks Felino and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Felino's face. Felino staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Fredrick Felino has been cut. Medranda closes the distance and lands a one-two. Medranda moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Felino fails with a takedown attempt. A punch lands to the side of Medranda 's head but he takes it in his stride. Medranda slaps away a takedown attempt from Felino, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fredrick Felino. That's going to take a lot out of him. Medranda throws a one two combo.
Medranda looks to score with a jab to the body but Felino is just out of range. Medranda misses with a straight right. Medranda has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A combination from Medranda does no damage. Felino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Medranda's waist but Medranda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Felino off to one side. Medranda misses with a hook. Felino scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Medranda.
Felino staying out of range there. Felino closes the distance and clinches up with Medranda, looking for a takedown. Felino pushes Medranda against the cage but Medranda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Medranda jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Medranda scores with a hook to the body. Felino takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Felino has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Felino. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The crowd cheers as Medranda lands an impressive looking overhand right. Felino doesn't seem phased though.
Felino is rocked! Medranda is stalking Felino. Felino circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Medranda, and it's lights out! Felino really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Carlos Medranda! Jumping up and down and very excited, Carlos Medranda waved his t-shirt featuring Backyard Fighting's logo in front of the cameras.
