Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Papermouth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Street (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Street has chosen The Truth as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Street! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Street is defended easily by Papermouth. Street blocks a head kick by Papermouth.
Street lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A shot to the body from Street misses and Papermouth counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Street looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Street gets a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Papermouth's face as he tries to break the clinch. Papermouth wants to break the clinch but can't.
Street tries to work over Papermouth's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Papermouth wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Street just leaning against Papermouth, taking a breather. Street misses with some punches.

This has been an exciting period of action! Street is trying to drag Papermouth to the mat but Papermouth just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Roger Papermouth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Street. Papermouth is trying to push Street away but Street has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Papermouth is trying to force a seperation but Street has the dominant position. Street prevents Papermouth from breaking the clinch. Street lands with a short head shot on the inside. Papermouth is trying to break the clinch but Street is controlling him. Street trying to control the position but instead, Papermouth has worked for underhooks and has pushed Street into the cage. Papermouth wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Street has him pressed against the cage. Papermouth is trying to break free. Papermouth tries to circle away but Street has him pinned against the cage. Papermouth looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Street misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Papermouth slips under a jab from Street. Papermouth gets caught flat footed, as Street shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Papermouth is looking to stand up but Street isn't so interested in that idea. Street trying to control the position from guard on top but Papermouth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Street wants to pass the guard but Papermouth is keeping the position. Street won't allow Papermouth to get back to his feet. Street wants to pass the guard but Papermouth is keeping the position. That's one minute gone in the round. Street not landing any meaningful shots this time. Street seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Street moves nicely into side control. Papermouth defending against the ground and pound. Street working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Papermouth dodges the ground and pound from Street. Papermouth is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Street has just dragged him back down to the mat. Street throwing shots but missing, from side control. Street sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Papermouth is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Street working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Street creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Street wants to lay and pray for a moment but Papermouth keeps working. Papermouth knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Street on the ground. Street prevents Papermouth from escaping the position. Michael Street has got the better of the ground game so far. Street tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Street has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Papermouth stops Street from passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Papermouth taking a bit of punishment here - Street scoring with strikes. Street advances to full mount. Papermouth is in a horrible position here. Street smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Papermouth is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oooh a big shot lands for Street! Papermouth is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
