PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rampa The Devastaor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray cracks The Devastaor with a good jab.
The fighters circling - Murray throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The Devastaor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Murray as he avoids it easily.
Murray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The Devastaor has managed to clinch.

The Devastaor breaks from the clinch.
The Devastaor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murray tries to avoid it but The Devastaor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murray to the ground. Murray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The Devastaor uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Murray.
Murray loads up on a big right hand but The Devastaor slips the punch.

The Devastaor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh The Devastaor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The Devastaor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The Devastaor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Murray tries to hold on but The Devastaor postures up.
Murray is looking to improve his position but The Devastaor isn't that keen on the idea.
The Devastaor seems to have got his legs back now.
Murray regains half guard.

Murray moves into full guard.

The Devastaor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The Devastaor is fighting to break Murray's control of his arms but Murray is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Murray stuffs the takedown attempt from The Devastaor. The Devastaor gets slowly back to his feet.

Murray tries a knee to the head but The Devastaor blocks it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Murray throws an elbow but misses.
Murray gets underhooks to prevent The Devastaor's takedown attempt.
The Devastaor fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The Devastaor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and The Devastaor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Murray won't be happy with that.
Murray is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked The Devastaor off and has taken his back!

Murray is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. The Devastaor is defending well though. Murray let's go of the attempt for now.
