The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scissors clinches up against the cage.
Scissors lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Scissors digs a right hand underneath Stanley's ribcage. Stanley let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Stanley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Scissors content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Scissors swings wildly with an uppercut but Stanley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Scissors lands a shoulder strike.
Stanley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Stanley wants to break free but Scissors has control.
Stanley is trying to break the clinch but Scissors is controlling him.
Stanley tries to stall but Scissors uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Stanley has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Scissors swings wildly with an uppercut but Stanley uses good head movement to avoid it.

Stanley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Scissors sizes up Stanley with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Eagle Stanley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scissors throws a series of punches but Stanley moves out of range.
Stanley takes a jab right on the kisser.

enabling Scissors to counter with a crisp jab.
Stanley doesn't manage to clinch there - Scissors circles away.

Scissors throws a combination. Stanley tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No joy there for Stanley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Scissors misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scissors lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stanley gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A left and a right from Scissors both land. Nice combination.
That has opened up Eagle Stanley's cut even more.

Stanley throws a head kick but Scissors moves out of range.
Scissors looks to land a combination but Stanley avoids it well.

Scissors fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stanley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Scissors scores with a nice head shot.
The cut above Eagle Stanley's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Good shot there by Scissors.
Scissors lunges at Stanley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stanley's hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooh!!! Scissors has knocked Stanley down with a huge combo! Scissors steps away and waves a wobbly Stanley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Stanley is rocked!
Scissors is working the combinations to good effect here.
Scissors lands a left and a right that send Stanley crashing to the mat, dazed. Scissors thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Stanley is still on wobbly legs! Can Scissors finish him?
Eagle Stanley's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Stanley needs to keep his hands up - Scissors had a free shot at his head there.
Scissors takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eagle Stanley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rock Scissors!
Rock Scissors looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I done said it before but I will say it again, I AM A BAAAAAAD MAN!!!!!!!!!!!'.
