Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kule Den (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mein moves into range and connects with a jab.

Den looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters circle momentarily. Mein darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've been told by Mein's head coaches at Synergy Fight Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Den walks into a stiff left hand from Mein.
Den throws out a loose jab but Mein uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Den cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mein throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Den tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mein was well out of range. Poor timing from Den.

Mein lands a really nice looking cross but Den seems unphased.
Den swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mike Mein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Den moves in looking to clinch but Mein pushes him off.
Den throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mein will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mein is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Mein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Den circles away quickly and effectively.
