Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carson Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GK Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes to the cage accompanied by damn it feels good to be a gangsta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carson Hughes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, GK Jnr! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Francis DeMontford and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jnr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hughes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jnr somewhat. Hughes gets caught flat footed, as Jnr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jnr is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hughes has momentary wrist control but Jnr slips an elbow through the middle. Jnr is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hughes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jnr. Jnr has gone for a leg lock! Hughes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jnr's guard. Jnr tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hughes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jnr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hughes has picked Jnr up and slammed him! Jnr can't keep hold of the triangle and Hughes manages to pass to side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jnr regains half guard, as Hughes was trying to land strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes wants to stand but Jnr has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jnr manages to get to full guard.
Hughes won't allow Jnr to sweep him here. Jnr is pulling down on Hughes's head to control his posture. Hughes tries to stand but Jnr is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jnr pushes a forearm under Hughes's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hughes is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
