Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Artison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Hartnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artison comes to the cage accompanied by Death Around the Corner. On his way into the cage it seems that James Artison has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily James Artison seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, James Artison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Norman Hartnell! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Artison throws a shot to the body.
Hartnell walks into a stiff left hand from Artison.
It looks like Norman Hartnell has been cut. Hartnell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Artison was well out of range. Poor timing from Hartnell. Hartnell gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Artison is looking to clinch. Artison's corner calls for a 1-2. Artison obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Artison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hartnell. Artison fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hartnell to the ground. Artison is now in Hartnell's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Artison keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hartnell's head. Hartnell preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Artison tries to free his leg and advance position but Hartnell is retaining full guard. Artison trying to control the position from guard on top but Hartnell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Artison loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hartnell keeping full guard, as Artison tries to pass. Artison trying to move into half guard but instead Hartnell has managed to sweep! Hartnell is looking to stand up but Artison won't let him. Artison is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Artison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hartnell is one step ahead there. Artison is working hard here to advance position. Hartnell is looking to stand up but Artison won't let him. Artison working a defensive guard but Hartnell manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Artison is trying to work for a sweep but Hartnell has mounted him! Artison tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hartnell wants to get back to his feet but Artison is holding on tight.
Artison gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Artison tries to get to full guard but Hartnell has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Artison moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Artison throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Artison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hartnell is one step ahead there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Artison wants to control the position but Hartnell says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Artison dominated that round. The cut man is working on Norman Hartnell's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hartnell thows a body shot but no joy. James Artison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Artison wants to clinch. Hartnell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Artison doesn't manage to clinch there - Hartnell circles away.

Hartnell throws a right and a left that Artison avoids nicely. Artison closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hartnell did well to prevent Artison getting side control. Artison is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hartnell is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). James Artison! After the big win, James Artison made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Merciless Gladiators and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
