Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joash Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Here comes the boom. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker connects with a solid leg kick.
Silva shoots in but Walker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Walker misses with a kick to the body.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walker throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Joash Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walker connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back.

Silva drives through with a takedown into Walker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Walker has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Walker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily.

Walker is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Silva has his hands clasped together but Walker extends and breaks Silva's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Walker.
