Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Archie Fallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papy Abedi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fallon comes to the cage accompanied by Between the Hammer and Anvil. Archie Fallon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Fallon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papy Abedi! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abedi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Papy Abedi has been cut. Fallon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Abedi misses with an attempted mid kick.
Abedi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fallon. Fallon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Abedi throws a leg kick that misses. Fallon misses with a wild body shot. Abedi scores with a leg kick.
Fallon throws a nice inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot to the liver by Fallon. Beautiful body shot. Fallon throws a shot to the body.
A big right from Fallon misses. Fallon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abedi drives through and clinches with Fallon against the cage.
Abedi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fallon throws a series of punches but Abedi moves out of range. Abedi staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab lands there for Fallon. Fallon throws a lazy head kick and Abedi counters with a body kick. Abedi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fallon napping and manages to drive through into side control! Abedi throws an elbow but Fallon slips to the side and avoids it well. Abedi tries to score with some ground and pound. Fallon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Abedi trying to control the position but Fallon is working away. Fallon's coaches at ROCK-A-FELLA FIGHT CLUB have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Fallon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Abedi is looking to take a break and control but Fallon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Abedi. Abedi throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abedi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fallon rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Abedi's guard! Nice work there by Fallon! Fallon tries to free his leg and advance position but Abedi is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fallon controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abedi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fallon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Abedi is looking to sweep but instead, Fallon has passed into half guard.
Abedi actively working from the bottom here. Abedi keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Abedi tries to roll over but Fallon keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fallon trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abedi trying to control here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Archie Fallon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Papy Abedi's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fallon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Abedi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Abedi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Abedi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fallon is keeping the position for now. Abedi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Fallon wants to stand but Abedi is controlling the position. Abedi trying to control but Fallon is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fallon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Abedi controls the pace.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Papy Abedi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Abedi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fallon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fallon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Abedi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Abedi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fallon paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fallon throws a shot from downtown. Abedi moves away and avoids it. Abedi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fallon thows a left - swing and a miss! Fallon goes for a double leg but Abedi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Abedi continues to drive forward. Fallon is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fallon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Fallon wants to break the clinch but can't.
A short uppercut from Fallon. Fallon misses with a short punch on the inside. Fallon misses with a body punch.
Abedi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fallon throws a head kick but Abedi moves out of range.
Fallon tries to keep at a distance but Abedi has taken the fight into the clinch. Fallon is pressed up against the cage. Abedi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fallon down to the mat. Fallon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fallon throws a wild body kick that Abedi sees coming a mile off. Fallon throws a hook to the side of Abedi's head but Abedi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fallon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Abedi sees it coming and avoids it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abedi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Abedi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fallon. Excellent takedown into side control there by Abedi. Abedi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fallon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Abedi wants to control for a moment but Fallon uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Fallon is refusing to be controlled, as Abedi sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abedi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fallon's head. Abedi is keen to just control but Fallon is a slippery customer. Abedi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Abedi works his foot free and advances to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Abedi working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Papy Abedi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Papy Abedi's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fallon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fallon keeps the fight on the outside. Nice takedown defense from Fallon. No joy for Abedi on that attempt. Archie Fallon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abedi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fallon lands a really nice looking cross but Abedi seems unphased.

Abedi shoots in and bounces Fallon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abedi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fallon's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fallon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fallon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Abedi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Abedi looking to pass the guard. Abedi with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abedi wants to control from the top but Fallon keeps moving. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Fallon keeping full guard, as Abedi tries to pass. Abedi works over Fallon with some ground and pound from guard. Abedi throws a strike but Fallon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Abedi looking for a sweep. Not yet Abedi, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abedi looking to control.
Fallon preventing the sweep. Abedi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Abedi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fallon has picked Abedi up and slammed him! Abedi can't keep hold of the triangle and Fallon manages to pass to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abedi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Fallon is thwarting Abedi's attempts to control the position. Abedi is looking to improve his position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Abedi trying to control but Fallon postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Papy Abedi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Abedi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
