Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emeric throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Shon wants to stand but Emeric has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Shon advances to half guard.
Shon lands with a punch from half guard.
Shon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Shon wants to stand up but Emeric is controlling the position.
Shon is looking for a kimura here.

Shon wants to take a breather but Emeric is having none of it.

Shon is trying to control the action in half guard but Emeric is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Shon working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Shon slips a nice elbow through Emeric's hands, connecting with Emeric's forehead.
Shon wants to get back to his feet.

Emeric knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shon on the ground.
Shon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Emeric does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Emeric is trying to escape back to his feet but Shon uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Emeric is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shon asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Shon lands a decent elbow from side control.
Shon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Emeric looks calm but he's in trouble here. Shon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Emeric is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Shon lets go of the hold and Emeric can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Eric Shon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
