Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renni De Biasio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jude Driscoll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renni De Biasio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jude Driscoll! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driscoll avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
De Biasio looks to throw the jab but Driscoll is out of range. De Biasio tries to clinch there but Driscoll circles away.
De Biasio swinging wildly here.
Driscoll dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Biasio. That did some damage! Driscoll lands with a slapping head kick. De Biasio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Driscoll drives through and clinches with De Biasio against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from De Biasio. Driscoll is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. De Biasio can't fight it off and eventually Driscoll manages to take the fight to the floor. De Biasio looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Driscoll preventing the sweep. De Biasio wants to improve his position but instead Driscoll has moved into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. De Biasio trying to hold on to Driscoll's head to control him but Driscoll postures up.
De Biasio is looking for a sweep. Driscoll is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. De Biasio trying to control here.
Driscoll lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Driscoll wants to work for an arm triangle but De Biasio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. De Biasio tries to get to full guard but Driscoll has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Driscoll frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Driscoll controlling his opponent. Driscoll working for a guillotine from mount but De Biasio is in no mood to give up. Driscoll looking to control and managing it successfully.

BOOM! Driscoll connects with a massive shot to the dome!
De Biasio tries to control Driscoll's body but Driscoll pushes him off. De Biasio squirms to his side and now Driscoll has his back! Driscoll gets his hands free as De Biasio looks to control. Driscoll is persistently looking for the submission but De Biasio is defending it well.
De Biasio can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Biasio tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! De Biasio is trying to escape the mount.
Driscoll content just to control the position here. De Biasio tries to get back to half guard but can't. Driscoll looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. De Biasio wants to hold on but Driscoll pushes him away. De Biasio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Driscoll on the ground. De Biasio is breathing heavily. Driscoll looking for a guillotine from mount but De Biasio is having none of it. Driscoll takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jude Driscoll dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Driscoll feints and as De Biasio raises his hands in defense, Driscoll changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Driscoll slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. De Biasio is trying to keep Driscoll in close.
Driscoll gets to his feet - De Biasio follows without any prompting. De Biasio displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Driscoll tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but De Biasio defends well and Driscoll ends up having to push De Biasio into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Driscoll has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed De Biasio clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! De Biasio rolls, trying to escape but Driscoll keeps control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Biasio is working hard here to advance position. Driscoll has good solid back control here. Driscoll is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at De Biasio. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. De Biasio is in bad spot here.
Driscoll wants to control but De Biasio is keeping busy. Driscoll slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
De Biasio is trying to break free.
Jude Driscoll has got the better of the ground game so far. Driscoll patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Driscoll avoiding De Biasio 's attempts to control his hands. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Biasio breaks Driscoll's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Driscoll controls De Biasio momentarily but De Biasio frees himself. De Biasio preventing the sweep. This has been an exciting period of action! Driscoll seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. De Biasio throws a big right hand that misses. De Biasio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. De Biasio wants to control from the top but Driscoll keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Renni De Biasio. De Biasio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Driscoll was well out of range. Poor timing from De Biasio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Driscoll gets a double leg takedown into De Biasio's guard. De Biasio is working an open guard so Driscoll takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. De Biasio misses with a jab, cross combination.
Renni De Biasio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Biasio misses with a wild combination.
A momentary lapse in concentration from De Biasio enables Driscoll to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. De Biasio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Driscoll is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Driscoll is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Driscoll passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Driscoll wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Biasio, who protects the arm well. Driscoll has worked his way into a potential kimura here. De Biasio is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Driscoll yanks on the arm and De Biasio is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Driscoll.
