Duncan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: One Chance. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Becka Waters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Duncan!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters lands with an overhand left.

Duncan has closed the distance and engaged Waters in a clinch.
Waters tries to score a body lock takedown but Duncan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Duncan jumps into guard, dragging Waters to the mat.
Duncan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Waters is controlling him.
Duncan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Waters is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Pain that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Waters stops Duncan from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Waters looking to sit in guard and control but Duncan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Waters looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Duncan has picked Waters up and slammed him! Waters can't keep hold of the triangle and Duncan manages to pass to side control!

Duncan is trying to get an arm triangle but Waters is defending well.
Duncan prevents Waters from escaping the position.
Duncan looks up at the clock and then as Waters takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Duncan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Waters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duncan on the ground.

Duncan tries for a kimura but Waters is defending well.
Waters is looking for a sweep.

You can see the frustration on Waters's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Duncan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Waters, who protects the arm well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Duncan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Duncan is working Waters over with some ground and pound from side control.

Waters is trying to control Duncan's posture but Duncan avoids it.
Duncan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Duncan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
A lull in the action here as Duncan stalls from top position.

Duncan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Waters looks calm but he's in trouble here. Duncan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Waters is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Duncan lets go of the hold and Waters can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tommy Duncan!
Tommy Duncan bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
