Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hae Hae throws a head kick that misses.
Menez rushes Hae Hae and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hae Hae is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Menez pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Menez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hae Hae.
Menez works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Menez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hae Hae working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Menez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Menez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Menez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Menez ducks under a wild hook from Hae Hae.
Menez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hae Hae felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Hae Hae has hold of Menez's hands but Menez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Menez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Menez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Menez wants to control the pace but Hae Hae is squirming around nicely.

Menez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hae Hae swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hae Hae takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Menez's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
