Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boneless Bangus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Kerby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boneless Bangus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carl Kerby! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerby moves out of range as Bangus throws a body kick.
Bangus rushes Kerby and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kerby stalling against the cage.
Kerby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bangus shoots in for a double leg but Kerby sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fight stays on the outside here - Bangus looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bangus takes the fight into the clinch. Kerby tries for a takedown. No joy.

Bangus manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bangus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Bangus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kerby's guard. Kerby is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerby being controlled here, momentarily. Bangus wants to control from the top but Kerby keeps moving. Kerby controlling the position. Bangus trying to control but Kerby is working from the bottom. Kerby can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bangus controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kerby is controlling Bangus's posture. Bangus passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kerby bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Kerby looks to clinch and Bangus counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kerby won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bangus wants to control but Kerby is keeping him busy. Kerby is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bangus working away. Kerby looks gassed! Kerby is trying to buck Bangus off. Bangus stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bangus takes a swing at Kerby's ribcage but misses. Bangus throws a head kick that misses. Kerby shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bangus wants to control but Kerby is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerby wants to get back to his feet.

Bangus pushes Kerby off looking to stand but Kerby dives back in and keeps control.
Kerby not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kerby is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boneless Bangus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bangus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kerby has him pressed against the cage. Kerby leaning against his opponent.
Kerby manages to break the clinch.
Bangus tries for a takedown but Kerby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bangus misses with a takedown and Kerby counters with a takedown into side control. Bangus is not content to let Kerby control the position. Kerby sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bangus is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerby working away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kerby stands up and beckons Bangus to his feet. Kerby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bangus paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bangus darts in and clinches Kerby up against the cage. Kerby jumps into guard, dragging Bangus to the mat.
Kerby wants to improve his position but instead Bangus has moved into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerby gets full guard. Kerby keeping full guard, as Bangus tries to pass. Carl Kerby has got the better of the ground game so far. Kerby working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bangus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bangus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bangus decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kerby, up you get! Kerby clobbers Bangus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerby tries for a takedown but Bangus circles away easily and Bangus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kerby is trying to maintain the position but Bangus is very close to passing his half guard. Bangus wants to control but Kerby is keeping him busy. Bangus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bangus tries to stand and escape but Kerby actually recovers to full guard. Bangus trying to control but Kerby is working from the bottom. Kerby is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bangus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kerby swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bangus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kerby drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bangus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kerby's guard. Kerby is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bangus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Carl Kerby will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Bangus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kerby looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bangus puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bangus tries to pass to full mount but Kerby defends it. Kerby wants to stand back up but Bangus manages to pass into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bangus trying to control the action but Kerby is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bangus has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kerby! Bangus looking to control but Kerby is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kerby wants to control but Bangus is having none of it. Bangus looking to isolate an arm here. Kerby doesn't see it coming and as Bangus extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Bangus!
