Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Marcelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Marcelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Ribeiro !
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcelo clinches.
Marcelo lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Rodrigo Ribeiro has been cut.
Ribeiro tries to break the clinch but Marcelo is controlling the position.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Marcelo stops a takedown attempt from Ribeiro .
Marcelo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Marcelo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ribeiro 's efforts to push away.
Marcelo stalling in the clinch.
Marcelo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ribeiro has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ribeiro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marcelo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Marcelo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ribeiro regains guard immediately.
Marcelo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ribeiro keeping moving, preventing Marcelo from controlling successfully.

Marcelo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ribeiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marcelo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marcelo throws a big elbow that misses.
Ribeiro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marcelo controls the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Pedro Marcelo.
Ribeiro keeps the fight on the outside.
Pedro Marcelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcelo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ribeiro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marcelo circles away.
Marcelo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pedro Marcelo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Ribeiro .
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Marcelo.
Ribeiro tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marcelo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ribeiro 's shoulder. That is not cool.
Marcelo wants to control but Ribeiro is keeping him busy.
Marcelo stands up.
Ribeiro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marcelo avoids it really well and circles away.
Marcelo moves into range and clinches up with Ribeiro .
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ribeiro misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ribeiro wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marcelo has him pressed against the cage.
Marcelo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Ribeiro is trying to maintain a safe position but Marcelo gets an underhook and turns Ribeiro into the cage.
Marcelo is trying to trip Ribeiro . He has hold of a leg but Ribeiro is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Marcelo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Marcelo lands a couple of elbows.
Marcelo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ribeiro seems a little lost for a moment, as Marcelo dominates the positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Marcelo in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marcelo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Marcelo lands a nice forearm strike.
That has opened up Rodrigo Ribeiro 's cut even more.
Marcelo is working Ribeiro over with some ground and pound from side control.
Ribeiro looks winded!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marcelo has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ribeiro really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pedro Marcelo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rodrigo Ribeiro 's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Marcelo sizes up Ribeiro with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Marcelo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ribeiro tries to avoid it but Marcelo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ribeiro to the ground. Ribeiro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Marcelo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ribeiro napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pedro Marcelo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Marcelo trying to control the action but Ribeiro is working from the bottom.
Marcelo looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ribeiro is avoiding damage well.
Marcelo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ribeiro is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marcelo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Marcelo has hold of Ribeiro 's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ribeiro seems comfortable defending it but Marcelo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ribeiro is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ribeiro is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Marcelo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
